The sturdy stainless steel concave shaped blade makes it an ideal tool for digging out weeds with deep root system. Just stick the knife under the roots push back and forth with a twist, and pull the weeds out. The gradation marks on the blade allow to measure soil depth for seeds and bulbs. Hori-Hori knife Care
After use, clean your knife thoroughly by rinsing under running water. Make sure to remove all dirt using a brush. Wipe dry with a clean cloth and apply oil to prevent rusting and maintain shine. Store inside the leather sheath in a cool and dry place. Hone your Hori-Hori knife regularly after heavy use to realign the blade edge. Sharpen as needed. Wipe the blade and the honing rod clean with a soft cloth after honing.
