The measuring cup detaches from the base and slicer so you can use it for food storage with the lid. The cup also safely pops food from the blades to keep your fingers safe. You can slice many different fruits and vegetables. First, cut the fruit or vegetable into long pieces, remove the measuring cup, and place food onto the base. Secure the slicing blade over top and push down until it’s cut through. To chop food into cubes, push blade down and over the sliced fruit or vegetable. Place the protective cover under the chopper and push the food through the blade. Flip the entire chopper over to fill the attached measuring cup. The measuring cup has both metric and standard measurements printed on it for convenience.
