offee bar you need to use the same quality beans Buy the beans fresh and whole only about a two weeks supply at a time for maximum freshness One the offee bean is broken its flavor degrades very one to two week portions immediately after purhase and freeze them in airtight ontainers The best way to maximize freshness is to minimize exposure to air light and moisture So one beans have been removed from the freezer maintain them in a sealed ontainer at room temperature sine damaging ondensation ours every time the beans are removed from the freezer or refrigerator Note that some offee ritial for proper flavor extration If the grind is too fine over extration and bitterness will result Too fine a grind may also log the filter If the grind is too oarse the water will pass through too Fully Automati Burr Grind Brew offeemaker makes up to twelve ups of 54 ounes of offee Making offee with Whole Beans 12up glass araffe Fill the Water Reservoir Open the reservoir lid Pour the desired amount of water in the reservoir using the water level window indiator lose the reservoir lid Note Do not exeed the 12up line doing so may ause the arafe to overflow Add Beans Lift the hopper lid using the reess on either side Fill the hopper with beans It is reommended keeping the hopper at least halfway full Be sure that you have a suffiient amount of beans in your hopper for the amount of ontainer release knob to the unlok position Note Do not put any water in the unit one the hopper ontainer has been removed If the water gets into the grinder motor the motor may beome damaged and may malfuntion Put hopper lid bak in plae Lok Hopper If you have removed the hopper from the unit be sure that the hopper ontainer release knob is in the unloked position and plae the hopper ontainer bak in the unit Turn the knob to loked position This unit is equipped with a safety interlok system The unit will not operate grinding funtion if the hopper ontainer is not in plae If you try to turn on the unit for grinding with the hopper out of plae the unit will beep ontinuously until the missing part is installed The brewing proess an be restarted by pressing the On button Restarting the proess will not affet offee results Insert offee Filter Open filter door by pressing filter basket door release button Remove filter basket over and plae a 4 basket paper filter or uisinarts ommerial style permanent filter in the basket The unit is equipped with a safety interlok system The units will not operate if the filter basket over or filter basket are not in plae or if the filter door is not
